An American Airlines plane bound for Oklahoma from Miami after being in Columbia was used as a drug mule and it almost worked.
Te Feds are looking into the discovery of a huge cocaine stash inside the nose of the jetliner. The crooks apparently were using the plane to ferry the drugs into the U.S. A mechanic set to work on the aircraft in Tulsa, Oklahoma, found the drugs that authorities say is worth close to half-a-million dollars.
The craft was originally scheduled for maintenance in Miami, but was rescheduled for Oklahoma instead. That may have been what kept the drugs from getting to their “owners.” Source: New York Daily News
