Note to Drake – don’t try to recruit anyone for the Toronto Raptors while you’re their global ambassador. According to Pitchfork.com, the rapper earned the team a $25-thousand dollar fine for allegedly trying to recruit Kevin Durant for the team.
Drake was hosting a show in Toronto, and Kevin was in the building. He said, “I just want him to see what would happen if he came to play in Toronto. Let him know what would happen.”
Seems innocent enough, but statements like that are against the league's anti-tampering rules, which state that players can't be pitched by teams while they're still under contract.
