If you thought teenagers were the only ones “sexting” – sending sexually explicit text messages – think again. A new McAfee study found that over half of all Americans between the ages of 18 and 54 are using their cell phones to sext.
Many who sext not only share racy pictures and videos and private sexy messages, but also share private passwords. The danger is that they may be sharing this with more than just the person it was sexted to.
The survey also found that many save their "sexty" messages and photos and videos which increases the chance of them being viewed someday by others. Again...the majority of Americans are indeed sexting.
Another surprising find in the study – one in 10 admit that he or she has sent raunchy pictures to a complete stranger. Believe it or not, there are some tips for sexting someone you barely know.
