Earth is preparing for another close encounter by an asteroid. Scientists say the one-hundred-foot-wide asteroid, called DX110, will zoom within 218-thousand miles of earth on Wednesday. That's slightly closer than the orbit of the moon. The asteroid will fly by the earth at 33-thousand-miles-per-hour and will make its closest pass at 5:07pm ET. Slooh.com and Virtualtelescope.eu are offering live webcasts of the event.
