Amy Schumer Jokes About Tough Pregnancy

In October, Amy Schumer announced that she and husband Chris Fischer were expecting their first child. While the news is exciting, the comedian has had a rough pregnancy.

Not even a month after sharing the news, the actress posted a photo from the hospital while telling Texas fans she was going to have to reschedule a few standup shows. After assuring that she and the baby were fine, she confessed that the second trimester is not necessarily easier than the first. "Very lucky to be pregnant but this is some bulls**t!" she exclaimed after revealing that she suffers from hyperemesis gravidarum — a rare form of severe morning sickness that can extend throughout a pregnancy.

Though a frustrating condition, the 37-year-old hasn't lost her sense of humor. Over the weekend, the mother to be posted a photo of her new normal: lounging on the couch, hooked up to an IV, with an exhausted smile on her face. "Am I glowing?" she captioned the snapshot, including a hashtag shining a light on hyperemesis gravidarum.

Check out the jovial post below.

Schumer and Fischer secretly got married in February of this year, just three short months after they began dating, and days after making their relationship public.
