Study: 46% of ppl didn't know what their partner did before COVID-19

Not only are couples getting to know their boo’scustomer service voicewhile working at home together, they’re also actually learning what exactly it is they do. Sure, couples knew each other’s job titles before the quarantine, but according to a new survey, what they were up to between the hours of nine to five was a mystery.

According to a new survey, nearly half of people in relationships admitted they had no idea what their significant other’s job involved until now. Until COVID-19 hit their knowledge of their loved one’s work schedule was limited to “they work in an office” or “they have lots of meetings.”Apparently, people have taken that whole “don’t bring your work home” advice really seriously.

And now that they’ve seen exactly what their partner is doing with their day, they do have some thoughts. Almost 40% realized their job is more demanding than they thought and 32% said their lover’s job is pretty interesting. Others weren’t impressed. A hearty 20% said their partner’s job actually seems pretty boring.

  • Interestingly, the study also found one in five is still uninformed about their bae’s job during all this. So either people are making a big effort to work in separate rooms or they still haven’t gotten bored enough in quarantine to talk about work.
