Study: Men, Women View Infidelity Differently

Here’s a fun fact about cheating. Did you know that the same amount of men forgive their boo as women? Here’s another fun infidelity fact for you: Men and women basically have two different ideas of what cheating is. According to a new study, the sexes can’t seem to agree on what the worst thing their partner could do to their relationship.

Researchers from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology have found that for men it’s all about thephysical actof cheating. Meanwhile, for women, it hurts more when their partner steps out on thememotionallyand it doesn’t even have to involve sex at all to be considered heartbreaking.

But guys, before to run off thinking you can have unemotional sex with a stranger and get away with it,think again. The study did find both sexes agree that there’s essentially no coming back from their partner sleeping with someone else. And the researchers added that it doesn’t matter whether the cheater accepted the blame or if the relationship was “strong” before the unfaithful act.
