Frozen Meat Mysteriously Ends Up On Family's Roof

Beware of falling meat in Deerfield Beach, Florida. The Adair family was awakened by the sound of a thud on their roof. After investigating, dadTravis Adair discovered a total of 15-pounds of frozen Italian sausage had fallen on their house.

The packages were placed in bags marked William Land Service, a land-clearing company in Alabama. Travis' son Austin decided to contact the company and try and figure out what happened. So far, no luck. Austin says, "I called them and the guy had no idea what I was talking about and probably thought I was crazy."

Austin sent along pictures, but he hasn't gotten a response. For now, the frozen meat remains a mystery.

Humans Worldwide Almost Always Lean Right When Kissing

A team of international psychologists and neuroscientists has found that humans may be hardwired to lean to the right when kissing their romantic partners.

The study, published July 14 in Scientific Reports, consisted of asking 48 married couples to kiss, at home and in private, and then report about the kiss separately in writing.

Researchers at the University of Dhaka, the University of Bath and The University of Bath Spa all collaborated on the study, which found a preference for turning the head to the right when kissing for both partners.

The study showed men were 15 times more likely than women to initiate kissing and over two-thirds of kiss initiators and recipients turned their heads to the right while kissing.

"Head turning is one of the earliest biases seen in development -- even in the womb a preference for turning the head to the right is observable before that of favoring the right hand or foot," Dr. Rezaul Karim, of the Department of Psychology at the University of Dhaka, said in a press release. "Whether this fundamental bias is innate and extends into adulthood is a lingering question for neuroscience and psychology."

The study suggests handedness may predict head-leaning preference in kiss initiators but not kiss recipients, and that the kiss initiator's head-leaning direction predicted the recipient's head-leaning direction.

"Dear Dave" Facebook message

"Hey guys, so I’ve gotten into this situation many times over the last few years since I had kids and moved close to the town I grew up in. My wife is becoming friendly with a lot of women I either dated or hooked up with when I was in my early twenties. They are all now married with kids and their kids are doing stuff with my kids. It’s very complicated. Now I’m wondering if I should tell her or keep it to myself."

Would you want to know if your current significant other hooked up with a new friend 20 years ago?

Italian City Bans Selfie Sticks

These days it’s hard to go anywhere without seeing a person taking a selfie, and that’s especially true for tourist destinations, with folks wanting to make sure they get a shot of themselves at the cool place they just visited.

Well, that is going to get a lot harder to do when visiting Milan. The Italian city is trying to crack down on bad tourist behavior by banning the use of selfie sticks. The ban went into affect on July 14th and will last until August 13th, but there is a chance it may “continue until it is needed.”

And the ban isn’t just for selfie sticks. Hoping to curb terrible tourist behavior in general, it also bans food trucks, street sellers, and the sale of any drinks in glass bottles or cans.

As for whether it will stop the practice of annoying selfie’s, that’s anybody’s guess. Especially since there’s no word on what consequences folks will face if they’re caught using a selfie stick.

Baby Born In An Uber

When Erica Davidovich went into labor, she said a prayer asking for a fast delivery and healthy baby. Boy did God hear her prayers. Her husband, Niv, called an Uber and a half a mile into their trip to the hospital, her son made his debut.

Erica and Niv are already parents to three girls and mom says her labors normally last between six and 12 hours. Not this time around. Uber driver Raymond Telles had to pull into a Whole Foods on in Sherman Oaks, California because the baby was waiting for the hospital."I didn't push. Nothing happened," Erica remembers. "Somehow, the gravity, the baby just slid out. My incredible husband caught the baby."

Both mom and baby are doing well. The family reunited with their driver and Telles gave the little guy a gift: an Uber onesie.
