The Trash Tattoo Trend
Would you ever get something permanent if you knew it was totally terrible? Like a terrible tattoo? Because people are totally doing it, and we’re a little confused about why. There’s a Brazilian artist Helena Fernandes who specializes in bad tattoos. She calls them ‘tatuagens peba’ which literally means “trash tattoos.”
So why do people get them? The artist has over 17,000 followers on Instagram likely due to her unique (and terrible) style. But people are coming from all over to get inked by this special artist. The cool thing about this trash tattoo trend is that neither the artist or the customer are overthinking the tattoo process. They both just go all in and see what comes out of it! I guess that’s pretty cool if you’re willing to take the risk of you know…FOREVER.

These Food Trends Will Be Big This Fall
All things pumpkin spice aside, fall is bringing some interesting things to the table this year. Here are the food trends you’ll be seeing on menus, at the supermarket, and of course, on Instagram.
Water, water everywhere - Move over coconut water and make room for all the new mineral-rich, plant-based waters. There’s chlorophyll water, which might help clear your skin, cactus water, birch tree water, and even rose water.
Everything but the bagel - Everyone knows the best part of this bagel flavor is the crunchy topping and “everything bagel” snacks will be huge this fall.
Soup is the new juicing - This isn’t your grandma’s soup! Cold, ready-to-drink soup brands like Zupa Noma, Bonafide Provisions and Mucho Gazpacho are trendy now. And they’re lower in sugar and more filling than that beet, kale, apple juice anyway.
A taste of Morocco - We’ll see more North African spices on menus this fall and you can add your own Moroccan twist at home with harissa, cumin, ginger, coriander, and cinnamon.
Tiny treats - Those over-the-top enormous delicacies are so last season. Now the big thing you’ll see all over Instagram is little goodies - like mini eclairs, mini ice cream sandwiches, and mini bagel balls.
Some assembly required - Educational food kits like Chameleon Cold Brew Kit, Annie B’s Caramel Apple Kit or Farm Steady’s Mexican Fresh Cheese Making Kit are trendy now and we want to try them all!

Resident comes home to find that a mystery intruder had cleaned apartment
Police in Virginia are baffled after investigating a report of a home invasion. Apparently someone broke into an apartment and cleaned it.
The Washington Post reports that an Arlington resident returned home Monday night after midnight, after being away on a trip, and discovered that the apartment had been cleaned.
Ashley Savage, a police spokeswoman, said, “The victim came home to discover the residence cleaned.” Savage added that, “someone unlawfully entered the apartment.”
But it is not clear who and police have no description of a suspect or suspects, nor do they have a motive.
Savage said the resident did not see who cleaned the apartment. Nothing was taken from the home.
Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Lattes Are Coming To Grocery Stores
Summer is more than halfway over and that means Pumpkin Spice Lattes will be at Starbucks soon. While they haven’t announced when the prized PSL will be making its annual comeback, Starbucks is tiding us over with some pumpkin spice products that’ll be available at supermarkets this month.
According to a press release, Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Flavored ground coffee will be hitting store shelves and so will ready-to-drink Iced Pumpkin Spice Lattes. The 14-ounce bottled beverage should retail for $2.79 and features all the cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove spice flavors people love.
And the coffee, which is described as a light roast, will sell for $9.99 for an 11-ounce bag. And don’t worry if you’re more of a Pumpkin Spice K-Cup gal, or love the VIA Instant Pumpkin Spice Latte, those will be coming back soon, too. So until people can get their hands on a real Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte again, these products should stand in for the fan favorite.
