A Wisconsin woman is checking skydiving off her bucket list at the age of 76. Determined to fulfill a goal that was 60-years overdue, Phyllis Rood decided to tandem jump out of an airplane from ten-thousand-feet.
She successfully completed the leap and greeted her friends and family when she landed. Rood said that she would recommend skydiving to anyone, no matter how old they are. When asked if she would go skydiving again, Rood claimed that she would, but may not have time.
Why? She wants to continue to check items off her bucket list, including driving an 18-wheeler. Meanwhile, she’s got some advice for you. “"If anybody had an idea they want to go skydiving, don't put it off. Do it,” she says. “Because it is awesome.”
