Water Has Been Found on Mars
After years of speculation, we can now say for sure that there is water on Mars. And not just a little – it’s a big lake. In a study published by the American Association of the Advancement of Science, scientists say they have found a 12-mile-long river, about a mile under the planet's surface.
Astronomers used radar data from the "Mars Express," a European spacecraft orbiting the planet. It took about two years of sifting through the data to confirm there was water on the planet.
Experts say the findings help to expand our understanding of the evolution of Mars, the history of water on the Red Planet, and its habitability. As for the lake itself, don’t go thinking about diving in. The subglacial deposit is super salty and very cold…and while it’s a little over 12-miles wide, it’s just about three-feet deep.

Couple Gets Engaged At Chipotle They’ve Dined At For 12 Years
Chris Piwinski knew he wanted to pop the question to Natalie Neach, so he thought about their relationship over the last 12 years to decide where to do it. And being in Northern California, there are all kinds of picturesque spots to choose from, but when he looked back on their history as a couple, the Yale grad knew it had to be the Chipotle in Elk Grove.
“We’ve done every type of dinner there,” Piwinski explains. “We’ve done pre-homecoming dinners, everything. It’s one of the core foundations of our relationship, like 100%.”
So he reached out to a brand PR manager who helped him set the whole thing up. Chipotle hired a photographer, hid the couple’s loved ones in the pizza shop next door, and provided a cake and balloons to make the proposal more special. He got down on one knee and Natalie said yes. And the future groom says Chipotle executed the plan “perfectly.”
