Apple Is First Public Company In America Worth $1-TRILLION

Apple is now officially the first American company to hit a market value of one-trillion-dollars. The tech giant stock briefly hit the $207-dollar-five-cent-per-share price to bring it to the milestone.

Shares have skyrocketed since Apple reported better-than-expected quarterly earnings. "I think it just speaks to just how powerful the Apple ecosystem has become over the last few decades," says GBH Insights analyst Dan Ives. "This is not the end, that they hit $1 trillion. I view this as just kind of speaking to a new stage of growth and profitability."

What does that mean to the average person? Not much…except that you can’t complain about the cost of an iPhone.

NASA Says First Commercial Astronauts Could Take Flight Next Year

NASA is announcing that the first astronauts aboard a commercial rocket could come as early as next spring. SpaceX plans to launch its Crew Dragon rocket in November.

If everything goes smoothly, then it could launch it again with a crew on board in April. Boeing is also working to put pilots into space. It plans to launch its CST-100 Starliner late this year or early 2019. It is targeting a flight with a crew on board for mid-2019.

NASA has been relying on Russian Soyuz spacecraft to carry astronauts from other nations to the International Space Station since retiring the Space Shuttle program in 2011. NASA plans to introduce the astronauts who will make the first flights on commercial rockets later today at the Johnson Space Center.

Walmart Mobility Cart Driver Leads Police on Slow Chase

A witness captured video of a slow-speed chase involving police and a man who absconded from Walmart on a motorized shopping cart.

Daniel Williams captured video Wednesday in Summerville when he spotted a police car chasing a man on a mobility scooter shopping cart from the nearby Walmart.

The cart appears to be running out of juice, as the rider uses his feet to help propel the slow-speed vehicle.

Police said the man was stopped without serious incident. The Walmart store declined to pursue charges in the case.

Man breaks into home to wash clothes, helps himself to beers and ham sandwich

Bethel Bailey really knows how to make himself at home -- especially when it's not his.

Bailey was arrested Wednesday for breaking into a Tennessee home after his bike tire went flat. When he realized no one was home, he decided to make himself a sandwich, have a couple of beers and wash his clothes, WMC Action News reports.

The homeowner came home to find a naked Bailey wrapped in one her blankets while his clothes were laundering.

Once arrested, Bailey explained that he just wanted a ride home after his tire busted. Since no one was home, he said he decided to make himself comfortable until someone arrived.

Hopefully, he can make himself just as comfortable in jail.  Bailey's been charged with aggravated burglary.

Driver Busted Going 99 MPH To Get To Taco Bell: Everyone gets a fast food craving once in a while. But one Minnesota man was especially eager, as he was caught driving 99 MPH to make it to Taco Bell before it closed. Local police say this isn’t the first time someone offered a strange excuse for speeding, another food-lover was caught going ten MPH over the speed limit because they were excited to bake with the cake pan they just bought.
