This Is The Self-Centered Reason People Stay In Crappy Relationships
We’ve all been in dead-end relationships before and we know the smartest thing we can do is end them ASAP so we can move on to something that’s actually worth our time. However, we tend to stay long past a relationship’s sell-by date, and new research reveals that our reason for riding it out is actually kind of self-centered and egotistical. A study out of the University of Utah, the results of which will be published in November’s Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, found that even when we know a relationship is all wrong for us, we tend to stick around because we convince ourselves that our partners would be lost without us if we were to leave them. How messed up is that?

Do You Think It’s A Little Morbid To Build Another Titanic Ship and Voyage?
A replica of the Titanic known as the Titanic II will set sail in 2022. However, although the Titanic II will eventually undertake the same Southampton-to-New-York journey during which the original Titanic sank, that trip will not be the route followed by the Titanic II on its maiden voyage. According to MSN, the very first journey undertaken by the replica will be a two-week trip traveling from Dubai to Southampton. From there, it will travel along the route its predecessor was never able to complete—and much, much more. Also, there will be more lifeboats. That’s one mistake from which we’ve definitely learned.

Chocolate Prices Are Going Up -Take advantage of Halloween candy sales, because chocolate is about to get expensive.
After the new year it is likely going to cost more. Hershey announced it is going through with a planned price increase early next year to offset increases in commodity and shipping costs. It’s been warned for years that chocolate wil lget harder to find as crops dwindle, and this is a sign.
The candy company said it would raise prices of some of its products by about two-and-a-half percent. It also has other changes in the works, including a Reese's Thins, which would be a 40-percent slimmer peanut butter cup. It has also purchased some healthier products, including Pirate Brands.

Couple Celebrates 75th Wedding Anniversary
A Connecticut couple has just celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary. William and Mary Godburn, both 93, met back in college at the University of Southern Mississippi in 1943 and were married six months later.
William says they met, hit it off and that he didn’t even have a ring when he popped the question. They were married by a Justice of the Peace in Oxford, Mississippi and then had a church wedding years later. The couple raised three sons in Connecticut and now enjoy life with them, their grandchildren and great grandchildren. And after 75 years, Mary says, “we’re very lucky,” and her hubby agrees.
“We’re very fortunate,” William says. “We’ve had a great marriage. We’ve had a very good time. Absolutely no complaints.”
