The Average Couples Wait HOW Long Before Getting Married!?

With so many quick engagements on our Twitter and Instagram feeds, it’s only natural that we would assume that the average couple gets hitched quick once their forever relationship begins. That may have been true for our parents and grandparents, but believe it or not, the quick engagements are in the minority these days. People are waiting much longer to tie the knot.

How long is “long?” According to a study by Bridebook, couples date for an average of 1.4-years before deciding to move in together. After just under two years of living together, they’ll probably decide to get engaged. But the actual wedding? That doesn’t even come until another 1.6-years after that. So do the math…that’s five whole years.

Of course, there is a plus side to waiting for your wedding day. Divorce rates are at their lowest since 1971, so we’re probably doing better with the whole “finding our soulmate” thing.

Alexa And Butterball Are Teaming Up To Help Make Your Turkey Come Out Perfect

Amazon Alexa can help you prepare your Thanksgiving turkey this year.

The Annual Butterball Turkey Talk-Line is officially open for the holiday season and is now using Alexa. The Turkey Talk-Line already allows you to text or email your turkey questions, but this year you can also use Amazon Echo, and say, "Alexa, ask Butterball."

Turkey videos from Butterball are also available on Amazon Echo Show and Amazon Fire TV. The Turkey Talk-Line has been giving one-on-one help on cooking turkey every holiday season since 1981. Butterball says it's been used by over 50-million consumers. Source: Butterball

Pringles’ Thanksgiving Dinner In Chip Form Returns

Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away and the line of Thanksgiving Dinner-flavored chips Pringles came out with last year is making a comeback for the holiday. As of today (November 6th), you can get the three-pack of flavors: turkey, stuffing, and pumpkin pie. But don’t hit your supermarket…you get these online.

Last year’s Thanksgiving chips came in a charming TV dinner tray, but no such luck this year. But these do come in a three-pack of cute tins for $14.99 and they’re available at the Kellogg’s store’s website now.

Giant Gingerbread Man Peeps Are Here For The Holidays

Now that Halloween is finally over, we can start talking about all the gingerbread, peppermint, and Christmas cookie-flavored goodies that will be taking over soon. Peeps is already bringing the holiday cheer with their new GIANT gingerbread man marshmallow treats, which are basically the size of a whole sleeve of Peeps in one.

These sugary guys are four-inches tall, dusted in brown sugar, and come decorated with hands, mouth, buttons, and pants and shirt lines, plus, they’re gluten-free. But if the enormous gingerbread man is too much, they come in a smaller size as well, along with other festive shapes including Christmas trees and snowmen.
