Aussie Mom Gives Birth To 12-Pound, 6-Ounce Baby

A baby just entering the world is already in the record books. A 28-year-old Australian mom has given birth to a baby weighing 12 pounds and six ounces – which is a record in itself. But apparently, Nikki Bell didn’t even use pain relief during the birth! Labor lasted for two and a half hours – and mom says she's pretty sure all childbirths hurt, no matter what the size of the baby is.

Either way, she and son Parker James Bell are doing well – and so is big sister Maddison. Congrats to the growing family!

Are You Ready For A Foldable Phone? - Samsung is betting that consumers want even bigger cell phone screens and has found a way to deliver that.

The South Korean tech giant showed off a new phone with a foldable screen at a developer's conference in San Francisco on Wednesday. The screen size doubles to almost the width of a tablet with a seven-point-three inch display when it's open, but it is the size of a typical phone when folded.

It is hoping developers can create apps to take advantage of the additional space. The company did not say when the phone would be released or how much it will cost. They did name it the Infinity Flex Display.

Look for several companies to start jumping on this bandwagon in months. Source: The Verge

You Can Eat A Whole Thanksgiving Dinner In Ice Cream Form

Thanksgiving is still a few weeks away, but if you can’t wait to sit down with your plate full of turkey, sweet potato casserole, and cranberry sauce, now you can get all those flavors of the holiday in ice cream. Oregon-based ice cream shop Salt & Straw has been creating these holiday-flavored ice creams for years and this year, they’re even sweetening the deal.

For every pint sold during the month of November, Salt & Straw will donate another pint to a local food bank near their Portland, Oregon, Seattle, Washington, and Northern and Southern California shops. These Thanksgiving dinner ice creams come in Sweet Potato Casserole with Maple Pecans, Roasted Cranberry Sauce Sorbet, Roasted Peach & Sage Cornbread Stuffing, Salted Caramel Thanksgiving Turkey, and Spiced Goat Cheese & Pumpkin Pie, or you can get a five-pack that includes them all for $65. But we’re just not sure about that turkey ice cream.

Facebook Messenger Will Give You 10 Minutes To Unsend Messages

Say goodbye to impulsive or alcohol fueled messages! (maybe).

Facebook Messenger is going to let us UNsend messages. The feature has been the buzz since April, but concrete proof it’s coming is in release notes for the latest iOS update. The catch is, the info says it’s “coming soon.”

At least we know how unsend will work. After sending the message, you’ll have 10 minutes to delete it. It will disappear from everywhere… unless someone screen shots it first. WhatsApp and Instagram already have the option.

The push for unsend started after it was discovered Facebook was deleting Mark Zuckerberg’s old messages over fears of hacking. The backlash was big and then came the announcement that the feature was coming to the platform.

We can’t wait!
