Is Your Drunk Self Your True Self?
Alcohol doesn’t always bring the best out of us, but does it reveal the truth about who we are? We say that our drunken rants or tipsy flirting are just a result of the four gin and tonics we drank and not our hidden personalities coming to light, but according to a recent study, our drunk selves are closer to our real selves than many of us would like to admit. According to the study, which was published in the journal Clinical Psychological Science, alcohol doesn’t really have the power to change your personality. In fact, you’re pretty much the same you as you are when you’re sober, as hard as that might be to believe. Alcohol does have the power to change us in one particular way: it makes us more extroverted. As University of Missouri social psychologist Rachel Winograd said.
- Are you most honest when you’re a little drunk?
- Have most of the things you’ve regretted saying happened while you were drunk?

Love This: Dating App Uses Fridge Pics Instead of Headshots
Samsung has released a new Tinder-like dating app with one unique twist -- the pictures show the insides of the user's refrigerator. The Refrigerdating app for the Samsung Family Hub Refrigerator, a $4,000 smart fridge with a touchscreen on the door, allows singles to learn about potential mates based on what they keep inside the appliance. "Simply upload an image and let the world know what kind of person you are," the app's website states. "Refrigerdating will then hook you up with a variation of fridges, of different tastes, to pick and choose from."
- Can you tell a lot about a person from just looking in his or her refrigerator?
- Can someone’s fridge be a turn on or turn off for you?

Woman Divorces Husband Three Minutes After Marrying Him
A newlywed couple in Kuwait recently made history for having the shortest marriage in the country’s existence. They decided to go their separate ways just three minutes after getting married.
Last month, Kuwaiti media reported the bizarre case of a couple who ended their marriage before even leaving the courthouse they got married in. The two had just signed their marriage contract in front of a judge and were walking out of the courthouse when the bride accidentally tripped. Instead of helping her up, the groom reportedly insulted his wife by calling her “stupid” for slipping. That was apparently too much for the woman to bear, so she turned around and asked the judge to dissolve their marriage on the spot. They had been married for only three minutes.
According to Q8 News, this was the fastest divorce in the history of Kuwait, and probably of the whole world. We’ve seen similar cases before, like this Dubai couple who got divorced 15 minutes after getting married, but three minutes? That’s going to be hard to beat.
The news of this record-breaking divorce went viral on Twitter last week, with most commenters joking and ridiculing the couple for wasting the judge’s time. Some, however, took the bride’s side, saying that she made the right call. If the groom insulted her so early into their marriage, who knows what he would have done later on, one person wrote.
Many young people tie the knot only to benefit from the state’s incentives, and then quickly file for divorce. It’s obviously not the only reported cause for divorce in Kuwait, but it’s definitely one of the most worrying ones.

Elderly ladies spark bingo brawl over chair
Officials in the Ontario township of Rideau Lakes say they won't be pressing charges against two residents who caused a brawl Tuesday afternoon.
And by "brawl," we mean a bunch of residents in an old folks home, squabbling over a chair.
As reported by the Whig Standard , the trouble began at about 1:15 p.m. when two unidentified female residents of the long-term living facility, aged 79 and 86, began arguing over who got to sit in a particular chair during a bingo game.
The argument apparently escalated to the point some of the other residents joined in, whereupon the local police had to be called in to sort things out. Which is a situation just begging for security camera footage but alas, there apparently is none.
Fortunately, there were no serious injuries reported.
