Police: 911 Caller Complained Taco Bell Was Out of Taco Shells

Police in Louisiana are reminding residents to keep 911 calls limited to emergencies after someone called to report Taco Bell was out of taco shells.

The Slidell Police Department said someone called 911 to report the Taco Bell on Gause Boulevard in Slidell "ran out of both hard and soft taco shells."

"While this is truly a travesty, the police can't do anything about this," police said. "Hopefully, they are replenished in time for Taco Tuesday!"

Police described the incident as "another 'we can't make this stuff up' story." They did not say whether the caller was cited.

Study says hackers could soon LISTEN to what you're typing

While the tech isn't yet perfected, experts still believehackers could soon figure out your PINs and other sensitive info bylisteningto what you're typing --through your device's microphone or other built-in sensors.

According to a study from the University of Cambridge in England and Sweden's Linköping University, detailed inThe Wall Street Journal, researchers acting as hackers employed an algorithm that could crack passwords by listening to the timing between key taps via the device's microphone, or by using the devices' gyroscopic sensors to detect the finger vibrations.

The algorithm was able to divine seven out of 27 passwords on a smartphone, and 19 out of 27 passwords on a tablet, in just 10 tries.

While the researchers note that many apps ask permission to use microphones, the accelerometer -- the gyroscopic sensor that let you swipe, shake, and track your steps through your phone -- usually isn't so protected and "could be used to steal data in a more discreet fashion."

The researchers say such tech is currently out of reach for your average hacker and isn't always reliable, but improvements in technology could make this a danger in the future.

Ashley Madison Offering Cheating Coaches For Married People

Hiring a dating coach to boost your prospects is nothing new, but now Ashley Madison (you know, that heinous site that helps people find people to have affairs with), is bringing the concept to their users. They’re testing a feature in the U.S. and Brazil that helps married people looking to cheatby hooking them up with a cheating coach.

Ashley Madison started in 2001 “specifically for married men and women looking to have extramarital affairs in the most discreet way possible,” according to itswebsite. And though they claim to have expanded to cater to people looking to date stealthily for any reason, their slogan is still “life is short, have an affair.” But they realize a lot of their users need help with creating an appealing profile and starting conversations with potential partners - because most of them are married and have been out of the dating scene for decades - so they’re giving them some assistance with these new coaches.

"This feature helps guide individuals into what they are looking for while still being discreet," Ashley Madison's Chief Strategy OfficerPaul Keableexplains. He admits that not all of the coaches are professionally trained relationship therapists, but the unfaithful wannabees can rest assured, all of them “have the goal of helping cheaters find their ideal affair partner.”
