Woman dreams she ate her engagement ring -- wakes up to find she actually did

A San Diego woman needed surgery after dreaming about swallowing her engagement ring and waking up to discover that she had actually eaten it.

Jenna Evansdreamed on Tuesdaythat she and her fiancé,Bobby, were on a high-speed train facing off with “bad guys." During the imaginary fight, Bobby told her she had to swallow her engagement ring in order to protect it.

When she woke up, however, she saw that the ring was gone and immediately knew what had happened.

"When I woke up and it was not on my hand, I knew exactly where it was," Evans said. "It was in my stomach."

An X-ray confirmed her fears. Then things took a turn for the worse when the ring began causing her pain.

So, rather than let the ring pass through her organs naturally, the doctor suggested that the safest way to remove Evans' engagement ring was an upper endoscopy.

The procedure went smoothly and doctors were able to retrieve the ring from her intestines.

"I was really happy because I don't know if I can look at it and appreciate it in the same way, if I had to search for it," Evans said.

Now, she sleeps with her rings off.

Her wedding is scheduled for next May.

Relationship Coach Warns Women About “Texting Trap”

It may be hard to believe, but there are lots of people out there who have never used dating apps before. It’s a whole new world for them and modern dating and relationship coach Sami Wunder says there’s one common mistake women tend to make when they first get into dating apps. She calls it “the texting trap” and it’s basically where the single ladies start texting for hours with the first man who shows them interest.

Wunder warns that “you don’t want to text with men too much because the more you text, the more virtual it gets.” She says when matches and messages start trickling in, texting back and forth may feel good to start with, but it actually makes a real connection less likely.

The dating coach explains that the more available you become in their heads, the less likely they are to ask you out for a real date. So Wunder has a simple process for avoiding the dreaded “texting trap”:

  • Have a minimum of four messages online, then say to them: “I’d much rather hear your voice.”
  • From there, set up a phone call and use your intuition about whether you like the sound of them or not.

Wunder says the five-minute call can help you filter out who’s not a good match and keeps you from “wasting time chatting with men all day like teenagers.” And she says it’s important to go from the call to the date really fast because “that’s where the magic happens.”

Study Shows Women Only Wear High Heels On Dates With Attractive Men They Want To Have Sex With

According to Daily Mail, a study conducting about 300 straight female university students in Slovakia proved that their shoe determined their intentions on dates with men. These women were asked if they preferred a stiletto or flat shoe on a date with photographs of men from Google Images, one being conventionally attractive and the other unattractive. 60% of the women had chosen to wear the stiletto if asked on a date by the attractive man, and 22% of that would choose heels for both. If there’s no attraction, women are less likely to put in the same effort into their appearance to either look desirable or not. According to Dr. Pavol Prokop, “Wearing high heels enhances female physical attractiveness for the opposite sex, thus their use seems to be a powerful sexual signal.” This is physically proven, as Prokop further explains,“heels improve the lumbal curvature and alters the female’s gait, reduces stride length and increases rotation and tilt of the hips.”
