Science: There May Have Been Life On Venus - Earth’s often called “twin” planet may have supported life.
A new study says there may have once been life on Venus. Research presented last week at the European Planetary Science Congress says Venus may have been "habitable" for several billion years. The study says the planet potentially had water and stable temperatures until a "dramatic transformation" started happening about 700-million years ago, perhaps due to volcanoes spewing gas into the atmosphere.
Venus now has a surface temperature of nearly 900 degrees Fahrenheit. Scientists say they need to study Venus more to get concrete answers.

Science Says This Is Why We Love Home Reno Shows
People can’t get enough of TV shows about house flipping, renos, and design and while many are glued to HGTV these days, it all started way back in 1979 when “This Old House” debuted on PBS. That home improvement show paved the way for today’s hits like “Property Brothers” and “Fixer Upper,” but have you ever wondered how these shows we binge-watch became so popular?
Part of it comes from the formula of the show. Viewers know what to expect fromChipandJoannaorDrewandJonathanand they like that. But most of the time, there’s a problem that “unexpectedly” pops up and that’s what feeds our curiosity.Dr. Gail Saltz,Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the NY Presbyterian Hospital Weill-Cornell School of Medicine, explains that watching home renovations satisfies normal curiosity about watching others and their desires and tastes as well as enhancing people’s own fantasy life about their own homes.
Experts say viewers relate to the problem-solving element and watching the makeovers and dramatic transformations unfold right before our eyes in 60 minutes or less is oh-so satisfying. They make it look so easy on TV and we get to sit back and watch them start a project and finish it all up, which isn’t the way it always works out in real life.

Do You Prefer To Date People Less Attractive Then You?
According to a new study, the key to a woman’s happiness in a relationship is dating men that are less attractive than them. Researchers found that men who were less attractive tended to treat their female partners a lot better, compensating for their lack of good looks with more thoughtful acts of kindness, like helping out with chores, giving their spouses gifts, etc. Because the women in the relationships felt more loved and appreciated, the relationship was happier. “The husbands seemed to be basically more committed, more invested in pleasing their wives when they felt that they were getting a pretty good deal,” the study read.
