Love carbs? Have a passport? Domino's is looking for an official garlic bread tester

So, do you love garlic bread? Like really love it? Well, if you're willing to travel to the other side of the world, Domino's has the dream job for you.

OnLinkedIn, the fast food chain has posted an opening for a "Chief Garlic Bread Taste Tester" for its HQ in Brisbane, Australia.

"We’re looking for someone a little bit crunchy, but mostly warm and soft on the inside," notes the ad, which states, alas, it's a short time gig.

The job will pay $30 an hour for one working day of 7.5 hours -- including a pizza lunch. "The ideal candidate," the ad notes, "Never met a carb they didn't like," and "understands the perfect 'crunch to softness' ratio."

Also required: you must have "working taste buds" and a "minimum of 5 years' experience in garlic bread consumption."

Oh, and you cannot "identify as a vampire." You know, the whole garlic thing.

If it sounds like your dream job, complete a survey and, the company asks, "tell us in 200 words OR in a 30 second video why you are the perfect candidate for the job."

But the ad warns, "no loafing around!" Applications close Monday, October 7.

Are You Dating Someone Who Prefers To Sleep Naked?

I can’t sleep naked for some reason, it’s just uncomfortable for me. I did date a girl who always slept in the buff and I loved it. Apparently, it’s good for you. According to research from the National Sleep Foundation, your body temperature is one of the most important factors in sleep quality. We all know how impossible it is to get any rest on those boiling hot summer nights! Since cooling down, your body’s temp sends the message that it’s time to rest, stripping down helps expedite that message and will help you get to sleep faster. Not getting enough sleep can increase your risk of developing depression and anxiety, so sleeping naked and therefore getting that vital rest means you’re less likely to experience these harmful side effects. Also, research has shown that getting close while unclothed with your S.O. boosts the production of oxytocin, the feel-good bonding hormone.

  • Do you love or hate that your partner likes to sleep in the buff?

Random Things That You Cannot Carry On To Planes

Anyone who travels a lot knows that you can’t bring anything you want in your carry-on luggage. Of course, you can’t get through security with more than 3.4 ounces of liquid, and weapons of any kind are prohibited, but there are also some forbidden items you may not be aware of.

Well, "Huffington Post" perused the “What Can I Bring?” page of the TSA website, and found some very interesting items that are a no-no, so you may want to take note before packing your next carry-on bag.

Little known forbidden carry-on items include:

  • Magic 8-Balls– Likely due to the liquid inside.
  • Foam toy swords– They’re okay for your checked back though.
  • Fertilizer– A no-no for carry-ons and checked bags, due to risk of explosion.
  • Bowling pins– They fall into the category of “sports equipment that can be used as a bludgeon.”
  • Cast-iron cookware– It’s heavy and can be used as a dangerous weapon.
  • English Christmas crackers– As in fire crackers, not food, probably because of the the “tiny amount of gunpowder lining the inside,” that causes the bang when they’re pulled apart.
  • Gel heating pads– This has to do with the liquid rule, although electric heating pads are okay.
  • Cooking spray– It’s considered an aerosol, which isn't allowed in the cabin or checked luggage either.
  • Larger snow globes– It’s a liquid thing again. If they appear to have less than 3.4 ounces of liquid they’re okay.

Airline’s Tool Tells Passengers If A Seat Is Near A Baby

Some people really despise being seated near a baby on a plane and those fliers who are looking for peace and quiet are going to love a new feature from Japan Airlines. The airline is now alerting travelers to where a baby may be sitting on a flight when they book their ticket.

Potential passengers will see an icon on the seat map that shows where kids between eight days and two years old will be sitting. Japan Airlines says the icon may not always appear where little ones will be seated, like when seats were selected through a third-party site or if tickets were booked “as part of a tour or using award tickets.” They also note that if there’s a change in planes, the child icons may not display correctly.

While some frequent fliers are thrilled with this information, others see it as unnecessary. "We need to learn tolerance,” writesone Twitter user.“Or we’ll soon start needing a map of seat locations for mouth breathers, droolers, farters, drunks, and perhaps a lot more things in life.”
