A group of friends that all grew up together did something most everyonejust talks about doing. They all wanted to live near one another when they grew up so last year, six people in Tennessee pooled their money and bought 32 acres of farmland in Hendersonville, Tennessee, just outside of Nashville. Then they built six big houses there and split the cost of getting things like power and plumbing. Now, these six friends, their spouses, and their 17 total children are now all living together in harmony for now. One of them said, "It had its challenges but you're mixing in six families' interest, six families' concerns, six families' money." They added that it was important for all of them to have a place that all their kids could roam and have fun growing up just like they did.
