Survey says 30% of Gen Z says they're selling their unwanted holiday gifts
If you got some gifts you didn't want for Christmas or Hanukkah -- and you were born between 1995 and 2015 -- chances are you're already trying to re-sell them.
According to a new survey sponsored by online marketplaceMercari, 30% of Generation Z members are looking to them, eBay and similar outlets to unload their unwanted stuff.
By comparison, just 9% of baby boomers said they'd do the same.
As for those who aren't reselling their stuff, 32% in the Gen Z group say they'll "re-gift" unwanted holiday presents. Regifting is common, however -- nearly 30% of the 1,000 people polled, regardless of age, say they were passing on their presents to others.
Women tend to regift more than men, according to the poll: 30% said they're regifters, vs. 25% of men.
Regardless of what we do with our gifts, the survey also revealed that 63% of Americans say they've already got too much stuff.
*LIST* The Biggest Product Flops Of The Past Decade
Companies are releasing new products all the time, hoping they’ll come out with something that folks absolutely must have, but more often than not, products don’t exactly go over well with the public, and some have been spectacular failures.
Well, 24/7 Wall Street has just come out with the list of the Biggest Product Flops of the Past Decade, and many of these products cost companies millions, and even billions.
Overall, the site has picked Google Glass as the biggest flop ever. The product, released in 2013, was an eyeglass shaped head-mounted display with smartphone capabilities, but it saw two years of disappointing sales, before they finally discontinued the product in 2015.
Other products making the list include the mobile phone app Home, the Disney movie “Mars Needs Moms and Burger King’s Satisfries, which were supposed to be a healthy alternative to fries.

Best Day To Get Back On Dating Apps In 2020
Ready to get back in the dating game in 2020? If you’ve been laying off the apps during the holidays, you may be ready to boot up all your old dating apps again and experts say there’s actually one day that’s the best one to get back on.
According to dating appZoosk, in 2020 that day is Sunday, January 5th. It’s the first Sunday of the year and it’s actually been named “Dating Sunday” because it’s expected to be the busiest day of 2020 for dating apps. And it gets even more specific than that - apparently there’s also a best time to log in: 9:30 p.m., which is when there’s a spike in dating app activity.
So now that you’ve cleared your calendar for that, what makes this day and time so popular? “Dating Sunday falls during a time period when singles are extra-motivated to look for online connections,” explains Zoosk’s Chief Marketing OfficerLuciana Telles.“It’s the first weekend after New Year’s Eve, which means people have not only set New Year’s resolutions, they’ve had a few days to think about how to put them into practice.”
Another reason January 5th is the day? It’s about six weeks from Valentine’s Day, so there’s plenty of time to spark something and have a date for February 14th.
