I found some fun photos to hang in the cottage!
The photo with the barrel is of my great-great grandfather- Frank and great-grandfather- Raymond, and I love that the barrel reads “Eau Claire.”
The other one is of my great-grandfather, Raymond (left), log rolling/burling on Half Moon lake in EC in the 1930's. My great aunt tells me that in those days, it was a competitive and challenging sport. The log was chained up so it wouldn't float away.
Decorating the cottage has been totally different from the tiny house. At 528 sq ft, it’s definitely bigger than our tiny, but it’s going to have a cozy, up north vibe. While the tiny house is ...well, I’ll show you some day. :)
