You might thing your job is safe from being taken over by robots in the next ten years, but you could also be wrong. If they’re making robots that are so human-like that you can have sex with them, what else are they going to manufacture? Hopefully something actually useful, but who’s to say? Here are the jobs that could be phased out in the future:
- Cashiers
- Fast food workers
- Retail jewelers
- Mail carriers
- Referees
- Meter readers
- Telemarketers
- Travel agents (those still exist??)
- Dispatchers
- Lumberjacks
A lot of these jobs are less popular for better reasons than just a robot takeover. Like lumberjacks, for example – we’re using less paper which means we’re cutting down less trees on the whole. Some of these jobs we should probably just leave to the humans, no? How are people going to make a living?
