Soap fans can breathe easier now that one of the last is staying put for at least another year.
Concern about the fate of “Days of Our Lives” is over now that NBC has inked the show to its 52nd season. The daytime drama aired its 13,000th episode in January and speculation had been growing about when it would be pulled.
Executive producer Ken Corday, who is the son of the show’s creator, was thrilled to share the news. "It's a great day in Salem! We're pleased to announce that after more than 51 years in the hearts and homes of our amazing fans, Days of Our Lives will continue to be part of the NBC family. “Source: UPI
