Huge Asteroid Is Going To Skim The Earth’s Personal Space-You know how uncomfortable it is when someone invades your personal space? Think of that happening on a global scale thanks to a rude asteroid.

The asteroid, the size of a football stadium, is going to be very close when it shoots past Earth today, at least "close" in astronomical terms. The giant space rock will be one-point-one million miles away when it flies by. That's a long way, but it's only a little more than four-and-a-half times the distance from Earth to the moon.

Astronomers say that's really close, as these things are measured. It's the closest a big asteroid has come since 2004. As astronomy website is calling it "The Rock," after actor and former WWE star Dwayne Johnson.

The best time to see the asteroid float by is tomorrow and Friday, but don’t miss it. The space rock isn’t supposed to come back around for 500 years.Source: AOL

Reports From Across The Pond Say 'Nessie' Is Missing

'Nessie' is missing and that has the residents of Loch Ness quite worried. The keeper of the Official Loch Ness Monster Sightings Register says Nessie hasn't been seen in eight months and “may have left the country.” This comes after there was a spike in sightings for 2016.

Register keeper Gary Campbell says "we're quite worried." Campbell says 2016 was a record year with eight sightings of Nessie, but now she seems to have disappeared. Nessie followers say she tends to be seen more in the summer months because of the longer daylight and better weather.

If you don’t believe the hype and still want to see about proving Nessie is still around, get a good picture of her and it’ll get you as much as 12-hundred bucks.

What’s Your Most Embarrassing Public Moment of All Time?

Think you’ve had some embarrassing moments? Well this story probably puts your moment of shame to shame. Gracie Henderson had just moved into her new house and needed to unblock her toilet. But because she didn't have a plunger, Gracie made the decision to carry out the task using her hands. However, she ran into problems immediately when her watch got stuck in the toilet basin, leaving her stuck fast. Poor Gracie had no choice but to call firefighters to her home in New Caney, near Houston in the USA to help free her. Crews had no choice but to remove the toilet, carry it into Gracie's back garden - with her still attached to it by the arm. Her new neighbors got to watch the entire thing on her front lawn.

Meet World's Newest Oldest Person, 117-Year-Old Violet Brown

Violet Brown says the key to longevity is hard work.

She should know -- the 117-year-old Jamaican is the newest oldest person in the world, according to the Gerontology Research Group.

"Honor your mother and father so your days may be long," said Brown, who was born on March 10, 1900 -- 67 years before Jamaica was founded. That makes Brown 117 years and 38 days old.

Brown worked as a cane farmer with her husband. Good genes seem to run in the family -- Brown's son is 97.

"Really and truly," said the woman affectionately known as Aunt V, "when people ask what me eat and drink to live so long, I say to them that I eat everything, except pork and chicken, and I don't drink rum and them things."

Emma Morano, the last living person born in the 1800s, died on Saturday at her home in Italy at the age of 117.

Guinness World Records confirmed Morano as the last living person to have been born in the 1800s.

The world longevity record remains with French woman Jeanne Calment, who died at 122 in 1997, according to the GRG's Robert Young.

There Is A Right Way And Wrong Way To Eat Pringles

My guess is not many people put a lot of thought into how they eat their favorite snack. Sure, folks have thoughts on the right way to eat an Oreo, or maybe what dip goes best with what chip, but usually most people are just shoving that tasty treat into their mouth.  Well, in case you missed it,  the folks at Pringles want you to know there is a right and wrong way to eat their chip, and putting two together to look like duck lips isn’t it.

Makers of Pringles say that how you eat the chip can affect the flavor, since only one side of a Pringle is actually flavored. They admit that the flavor can rub off from chip to chip, but the flavor on the sides tend to be uneven for this reason.

So, in order to maximum the Pringles' flavor, the company says folks should nibble on their Pringle with the convex side facing up, meaning when you’re eating it the center sides should be high as tips fall down. If you eat it with the concave side up, you won’t be getting as much flavor since it doesn’t get the direct seasoning.

How Much Brides Are Spending On Wedding Gowns

When most women get engaged and start thinking about their wedding day, their dress is at the top of their list. But depending on budgets and how they want to prioritize spending, the dress they dream of wearing on their walk down the aisle may not be the one they end up with.

With all the designer gowns out there, as well as discount designer dresses and custom creations, wedding dress prices are all over the place. But how much is it realistic to budget for a wedding dress? Thanks to wedding stats released in 2017 by The Knot, now we know.

It turns out the average price for a wedding dress in 2016 was $1,564, which is up from 2015 (when it was $1,469). Aside from the venue, photographer, and wedding planner, the dress was one of the biggest expenses for a wedding. And every bride deserves to feel beautiful in her wedding dress, it just might take a little budget adjusting to be able to afford the one she picks out.
