Court Fines Man $4,000 For “Liking” the Wrong Facebook Posts
A Swiss court has issued what may be the first-ever fine for clicking the “Like” button on social media, with CNN reporting that a man will have to pay a roughly $4,000 fine for liking—and thus, in the court’s view, sharing and endorsing—a series of statements that were found to be libelous. The comments in question were written by a third party, and apparently accused an animal rights activist of “anti-Semitism, racism and fascism.” (According to BBC News, the activist also successfully sued several other people making comments, but none for only hitting reaction buttons.)
“The defendant clearly endorsed the unseemly content and made it his own,” the court said in a statement explaining its decision. For what it’s worth, the lethal like in question came before Facebook broadened its response buttons from the all-purpose “like,” allowing users to frowny face or flower obvious libel instead.
Facebook has distanced itself from the case, saying there was “no direct link” to its platform. In any case, the decision—which seems to be the first time that a “like” or other reaction button has been legally interpreted as “speech”—suggests just one more reason we all need to be careful while posting online, especially in Switzerland. Meanwhile, there’s still no word on what kind of penalty awaits anybody still using the Poke button in 2017.

How Much Sex Do You’ll Be Having To Get Pregnant
When folks decide it’s time to start trying for a family they probably don’t realize just how much sex they’re going to have to have before they’re successful. Well, thanks to a new report now they do.
According to a UK survey, which could easily translate here, couples trying to conceive need to have sex an average of 78 times before they successfully make a baby. What’s more, it takes about 185 days, or six months and three days, from when they decide to start trying before they get a positive pregnancy test, which means, on average, couples have sex 13 times each month while trying to get knocked up.
As for what kind of sex they should be having, three quarters of couples say the missionary position is the most popular for making a baby, with doggy style the second most popular at 36%.
And while all that baby making may sound like a good thing, it doesn’t seem as though everyone’s all that satisfied with the sex. Even though a third of women and 51% of men claimed they “loved” having more sex in order to make a baby, 18% found it more of a chore. In addition, 43% said they felt a lot of pressure trying to get pregnant.

Unfinished Paint Job Leaves Town With "Sex" Sign
The water tower in Sussex, Wisconsin is undergoing renovations. Unfortunately for them, they ran into a hiccup and had to stop painting midway through the project. Now, the water tower reads "SEX."
Jessica Bruss was driving her eight-year-old son to his first baseball game Wednesday afternoon when she heard him say "mom, why does that say sex?'" "I immediately thought, 'not today, we're not having this conversation today,'" Bruss jokes. "I almost drove off the road when I saw it."
"It's not like it's anything pornographic, but it certainly caught the attention of my eight-year-old," Bruss adds. "While I think it's funny for adults, people should remember that kids are seeing it."
What's more, this is only one of the sides of the tower and the contractor can't guarantee that the same thing won't happen again.
