Here’s a shocker; humans have been around much longer than we thought.
Newly found fossils of early man are pushing the origins of humans back by 100-thousand years. A new study from "Nature" says archaeologists discovered Homo sapien fossils dating back roughly 300-thousand years in Morocco. Before this, the oldest human fossils were found in Europe.
The discovery undermines the longstanding ideas of humans originating from eastern Africa some 200-thousand years ago. Researchers say the findings show that Homo sapiens spread across the entire African continent far earlier than previously thought.Source: New York Times
