A friend was on her way to drive Christine Harvey to the hospital after the Malden, Massachusetts woman complained of being in severe pain. But before her ride could arrive, Harvey went into labor and gave birth to a baby girl on her sidewalk.
“I thought it was her daughter’s doll," one neighbor said. "No, it’s a baby, a baby.” The neighbors weren't the only ones surprised by the new arrival. Harvey herself didn't know she was pregnant.
According to Harvey's boyfriend Doug Rogers, both mom and baby are doing well. What's more, neighbors are pitching in to help the new parents who had no time to prepare for their new edition. Congrats to the shell-shocked parents!
