Your College Bathroom Toothbrush Probably Has Poop On It

In research presented at the 2015 American Society for Microbiology conference, scientists found that 55-percent of toothbrushes in college bathrooms had fecal bacteria on them—and there’s an 80-percent chance the bugs on your brush came from another person. And it seems like the bugs are brewing despite your best efforts: Covering the brushes didn’t protect against bacterial growth, and rinsing the brushes in hot or cold water didn’t help, either. I suggest rubbing alcohol and then boiling hot water.
