Las Vegas Victim Count Rises

Las Vegas police are confirming that more than 20 people were killed in last night's mass shooting along the Strip. Over 100 others are injured.

As we told you earlier, shots rang out while country singer Jason Aldean was playing the Route 91 Harvest Festival. Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo held a press conference, and confirmed toll. The one shooter who was killed is believed to be a Las Vegas local. He is also thought to be a lone wolf attacker. Police are looking for one other person of interest, Marilou Danley, who is the shooter's companion.

Lombardo also said reports of multiple shooters and explosions were not accurate and that some off-duty officers were among the dead. The Boulevard has been locked down, with few exceptions, and a task force continues to assess the situation.

ATF and FBI agents are assisting with the investigation.

Jason Aldean has shared his horror at the event and confirms that the band and crew are safe.
