If you’re using coffee as a band-aid for when you’re not getting enough sleep from day to day, maybe you should take a day to recover before you continue. It turns out there’s some science to suggest that the caffeine won’t even be as effective until you’re caught up on your sleep schedule.
A study from the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research looked at how much caffeine worked over time, and the people tested that had less sleep in their systems reported coffee being less effective. (Not to mention how unhealthy it is to use caffeine instead of just catching up on Zs!!)
Coffee won’t take you as far as you think! Get some real live sleep before you live off of the stuff!
