Would you ever go on a phone-less vacation?

To truly enjoy time off, first you must put your phone down — but people can’t seem to do it. Now you can pay someone else to do it for you. The newly launched travel company Off The Grid offers group trips with itineraries, lodging and a daily breakfast included — and no phones allowed. Other resorts and getaways are advertising themselves as phone-free as well. Punta Placer, a beach resort in Mexico, is completely “off the grid” without Wi-Fi or phones for $90 a night. If the social pressure doesn’t help, the money they’re paying for the privilege of a phoneless vacation will. The yoga retreats cost anything from $550 for eight days in Portugal to $9,000 for seven days in Thailand.

  • Would you prefer to go on a phoneless vacation or would not having your phone be too stressful for you?
