Soon you can designate someone to manage your FB page after you pass

Ever wonder what happens to your Facebook account once you're deceased? Much as you can decide on an executor to handle your will and other affairs upon your passing, you can now pick someone to do this for you. Soon Facebook will let you name a legacy contact, instead of freezing your page once someone lets Facebook know you've passed on as it had done in the past. According to the Facebook Help Center, this legacy contact will be able to post a note on your behalf, whether it's a special good-bye message or details about your funeral, respond to friend requests that come in, and change your profile and cover photos. You can even opt to allow this person to download everything you’ve posted to Facebook. So whom would you trust to run your Facebook page once you’ve passed on? Would you rather they shut your page down?
