Vancouver, Canada introduces grave sharing

Now you can rest in peace…with company.

Space constraints in Vancouver, Canada are forcing city leaders to get creative with the dead. The city recently passed new laws that will let up to three people share the same grave, starting in 2020. They don't even have to be related, but they do have to opt into the plan. So, unless you say “sure, someone can hop into my grave after I die,” strangers can’t be piles in with you.

An environmental planner tells CTV it's no different from ride-sharing like Lyft and Uber, only participants have already reached their final destination.
