NASA Is Prepping For Next Week’s Manned SpaceX Launch

We're now less than a week away from what NASA calls big day for our country and space travel.

AstronautsBob BehnkenandDoug Hurleyarrived at Kennedy Space Center yesterday ahead of next Wednesday's launch to the International Space Station. Behnken and Hurley will be the first astronauts to blast off from U.S. soil since 2011. They'll fly aboard SpaceX's Crew Dragon capsule and spend at least two months at the ISS.

Unfortunately, there wont be a crowd to watch from the stands. Kennedy Space Center announced yesterday its Visitors Complex won't open again until the day after the liftoff. When it does reopen, visitors to the complex will have to wear a mask, get their temperature checked and follow social distancing guidelines.

You can watchthe launch on Discovery and the Science Channel next Wednesday starting at 11 a.m. ET.
