Powerball Results: No Winner Wednesday, Jackpot Increases To $640 Million

With no winner during Wednesday (January 13) night's Powerball drawing, the jackpot has now increased from $550 million to $640 million, with a cash option now worth $478.7 million.

The winning numbers for Wednesday night's drawing were: 4-19-23-25-49 and the Power Ball was 14.

The Mega Millions and Powerball games are offering a combined jackpot of more than $1 billion this week. Mega Millions has a jackpot of $750 million, with a cash option worth $550.6 million.

Both jackpots will continue to increase during each game until there's a jackpot winning ticket matching all six numbers drawn.

The Powerball jackpot has exceeded the half a billion mark nine times during its existence. If a player wins on Saturday, it would be the fifth largest jackpot in the game's history.

Three tickets in California, Florida and Tennessee won the $1.586 billion Powerball jackpot in January 2016, which set the record for the world's largest jackpot (cash value and annuity) and was the ninth largest cash value per ticket.

The Mega Millions jackpot has exceeded the half billion mark five times in its existence. If a player wins on Friday, it would be the second largest jackpot in the game's history.

In October 2018, a ticket was sold in South Carolina winning $1.537 billion ($878 million cash value), which is the world's largest jackpot for a single ticket and the largest cash value for a single ticket.
