Round 2 has finally arrived… Maren Morris and Zedd teamed up again, adding BEAUZ to their latest repeat-worthy breakup anthem. “Make You Say” released on Friday (August 19), marking the first collaboration between Morris and Zedd in four years. The pair haven’t worked with one another since dropping the now six-times Platinum smash hit with Grey, “The Middle.”

“Make You Say” delves into the emotions following a split — sadness, anger, and eventually, growth and freedom — as Morris replays the breakup and vows that her ex will regret leaving her (but not until “it’s too late”):

“You’ll learn one day/ I’m one in a million/ Maybe in a billion/ And when it’s too late/ Oh I got a feelin/ You’ll be in your feelings
“Go ahead, Walk away/ You’re gonna miss the way/ I used to make you say/ Oh my god, Night and day/ You’re gonna miss the way/ I used to make you say”

Social media users freaked out over the weekend, when Morris and Zedd dropped major hints that they were teaming up again. The two artists shared the same photo, captioning “Round 2?” and “Should we do it again?” Soon after sharing those initial teasers, Morris and Zedd confirmed the highly-anticipated release date of their next collaboration, revealing that DJ/producer duo BEAUZ would join them on the new track. BEAUZ exclaimed on Twitter that the collaboration is “THE BIGGEST MOMENT OF OUR LIVES YET.”

Morris will be performing at the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Festival this September, and fans can tune in and watch live via an exclusive stream each night on September 23rd and 24th on The CW app and CWTV.com. The CW Network will also broadcast a two-night television special this October. Additionally, the festival will be broadcast live for fans via iHeartRadio stations throughout the country across more than 150 markets, and on the iHeartRadio app. Find available tickets.
