After removing some popular items from their menus late last year, Taco Bell is bringing back its potato options in March. This includes their Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes and Spicy Potato Soft Taco. Even better for Taco Bell fans? Both of these items will be on the menu PERMANENTLY.
As you might recall, they were actually removed from the menu last summer when the chain tried to simplify their offerings much to the dismay of many of their fans. But all of you potato and carb lovers can breathe easily – the Spicy Potato Soft Taco is just a buck and the Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes will be $ 1.49 at participating locations. And if you’re looking for more veggie-friendly options you can always switch out meat for potatoes or beans on any of Taco Bell’s menu items.
They also are announcing the ‘beefing up’ of its vegetarian options, teaming up with Beyond Meat to create a plant-based protein that should show up later next year. It will be their first time testing out plant-based meat in the U.S. and it looks like they are jumping on the bandwagon like many of the fast-food chains already have.
