Microsoft is telling users to update their computers immediately over concerns of a security flaw.
PrintNightmare affects the Windows Print Spooler service and allows hackers to install programs, create new user accounts, and access personal data. This comes after researchers accidentally posted a guide on how to use the vulnerability online.
Microsoft says it hasn't released a fix for its operating systems, but is working on getting it fixed as soon as possible. A patch for Windows 7, which isn’t supported by the company anymore, was released yesterday.
