If You’re Sitting All Day At Work You May Suffer From “Office Ass”

Those who sit at a desk for eight or more hours a day are prone to hypertension, heart attacks, depression, and, worst of all, the New York Post reports, "office ass," the slow but continual flattening of one's ass as she sits at her desk all day. Physical therapist Abby Bales confirmed to the Post the longer you sit on your butt without moving, the more likely it is you'll have "a difficult time actively engaging [your] glutes to both strengthen and shape them," which means the effects of your lunges could be canceled out by sitting at work: "The more you sit, the more you have the chance of developing a flatter booty."
