This Airline Is Giving Free Flights to Inspirational Women

March is Women’s History Month and Icelandic airline WOW Air is running a new contest to celebrate women. They want to give inspirational women a free flight and you can nominate the ones you feel should win. To enter, share a story of an important woman in your life on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #wowwoman and tag @wowair and explain why she should win.

All entries must be in by 6:59 a.m. EST on March 8th, which is International Women’s Day. WOW will repost what they consider the “most inspiring” stories and each winner will score two WOW tickets to a destination of her choice. To be clear, the “winner” won’t be you, it’ll be the woman you nominate, but maybe she’ll take you along?

WOW hasn’t said how many winners they’ll choose, but the contest’sterms and conditionsnote the “number of selected nominees will also be decided at the sole discretion of WOW Air.” You don’t have much longer to nominate the most inspirational women in your life, so start writing.

Heinz is stepping up its game in the hybrid condiments arena. Two new mayonnaise flavors are being introduced. They are Mayomust, mayonnaise mixed with mustard, and Mayocue which mixes mayonnaise with barbecue sauce.

The sauces come in the same 16-point-five-ounce bottles as their Mayochup predecessor of mayo and ketchup. So far, the bottles have been spotted at select grocery stores and Amazon has some listed online.

FDA Finds Asbestos In Makeup From Claire’s

If your kids buy makeup at Claire’s or Justice, you might want to toss it. The FDA has been testing items from both of the retailers andjust announcedasbestos has been found in at least three of the chains’ makeup products.

Back in 2017, it was first reported that some makeup from Claire’s and Justice may contain asbestos, which prompted Claire’s to voluntarily pull some products and Justice to do a formal recall of 17 products. But now, the FDA warns people not to use eye shadows, compact powders, and contour palettes because they contain an amount of asbestos that’s potentially dangerous to kids’ health.

But Claire’s still refuses to recall these makeup products because it says the test results “show significant errors” and that the items in question have been “extensively tested by multiple independent accredited labs” and found to be safe. So this is basically a he-said, she-said, but it’s the FDA vs. Claire’s. And here’s the thing, if there’s any chance there’s something dangerous in your kid’s makeup - like asbestos - do you really want to risk it just because the store selling it says it’s okay? Better safe than sorry seems like the way to go here.
